The difference between Local and Global
In subjet of geography the term global refers to all the phenomenos which all the world. For example, it is GLOBAL, the petrol market, the telecomunication or the airplane transport.
Instead the term LOCAL refers to the relationships which concern only a part side of the world. The local refers to singolar places which are connected by a phisical nearness. For example we can speack about:
- Local temperature
- Local trasport
- Loca development
In the past the market was only local, while since modern age, thanks to the discovery of world by the european peaple, the exchanges became more widespread.
So since the XIX and XX century there was development of markets and economy.
Nowdays we speak about GLOBALIZATION, thanks to an increasement of the relationships, so every physical, cultural and political limit is got over.
